
Crunchy homemade popcorn with a smokey bacon twist. Totally addictive!
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup popcorn kernels
- 1 tsp NZProtein Stock Powder (pure yeast extract)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sprinkle of cayenne pepper for the brave
Directions
- Get a a large pot that has a matching lid. Place over medium heat and pour in the oil.
- Add corn kernels and stir to coat in oil then place lid on top.
- While waiting for the kernel to start popping shake the pan to avoid any burning or sticking to the pan. Do this until all popping has ceased.
- Pour popped corn into a sieve to cool (this will prevent condensation which can make popcorn soggy).
- Sprinkle over seasonings and stir through. Easy!
